		<description>I&#039;m on the other end of the spectrum. I have resisted any and all activities just because I haven&#039;t wanted to be a part of the sports/music/arts machine that we parents crank our kids through. 

However, that&#039;s no longer working around here. I&#039;ve got a son that plays football and 3 girls with dreams of basketball and ballet and piano. I can&#039;t resist anymore. They&#039;re at the age you talked about where they are starting to know who they are and what they want. Oh, well, my family&#039;s life has been pretty slow for a while now. Maybe a little activity won&#039;t hurt.</description>
